Coos County Pregnancy Resource Center is a life-affirming ministry that serves as a sanctuary showing the unconditional love and acceptance of Jesus Christ. PRC provides practical, emotional and spiritual assistance to women, men and children who face pregnancy related issues, who are threatened by abortion or who have suffered harm from abortion.
Thank you for visiting Coos County Pregnancy Resource Center Partners website. This has been created specifically for concerned individuals invested in helping to promote life here on Oregon’s beautiful south coast.
Founded in 1985, CCPRC is a Christian, nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals facing unplanned pregnancies. The Center provides pregnancy testing, ultrasound scans, prenatal and parenting education, material assistance, post-abortion program and abstinence education. All services are confidential and free of charge.
We believe all life is created by and a gift from God, and has infinite value. Therefore, we are committed to upholding the sanctity of human life from conception to natural death.
Please take a moment to navigate through our website to find out more about what we do at CCPRC and ways in which you are able to partner with us to provide the hope which brings life and healing. May you be richly blessed even as you seek to bless the countless babies, moms and dads we serve!
- Each spring brings the Annual Banquet. This is the largest fundraiser for the PRC.
- In the fall is the Walk for Life held at three locations throughout Coos County: Coos Bay Mingus Park, Bandon Bullard’s Beach and Myrtle Point School Track. A 5K Run is held the same date at the Coos Bay location.
- Throughout the year, churches and organizations may participate in Change for Life. Baby bottles are distributed to members who then put in their loose change, currency or checks.
PRC has ongoing material needs for the Baby Boutique: diapers, clothing sizes newborn to 4T, maternity clothing, car seats (must be new), baby furniture, etc.
We need you! If you are unsure about what it means to volunteer at PRC, please call Catherine to schedule an informational tour. You will be introduced to the organization and given information on volunteer positions that are available. Shifts are from 10 am to 1 pm and 1 pm to 4 pm, Monday through Thursday.
